Hi all

I have been a long long time Battletech fan. I was introduced by the first print of the 'warrior' book series ( Damn thats long ago!) and I've played the btech tabletop mini game for 12 years now! books, mech commander, mechwarrior, the PC game, you name it, I've played it. Unfortunately dark age and the 'unrealism' of the jihad killed of my interest in Btech for awhile ( lame story!)

I was just introduced to this MW online today and I am stoked to see something new come out for btech. this is awesome! rest assured I will be paying close attention here!

The above link goes to A TON of info, but it'll help out too. The devs have really been open to providing information and reading our suggestions. So if you have any questions you'll probably find them in the linked thread. If you don't, ask up. MWO has a great community, someone will usually help. Be nice to the devs, we're a bit protective of them. If you want an idea of why, check out this thread.

i just got here this week too.
Been trying to wade through everything here, way to much information.
After the other game forums i have been on lately you'd have thought people just bought games just to complain. Great comminuty around here so far.

From everything I've seen the dev's have everything well in hand and a real passion for the subject matter David, (like all your childhood imaginings of 'Mechs writ large).

BTW check out http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Main_Page I've been using the search feature for pretty much everything I've needed an answer on.

I'm looking forward to having my legs shot out from under me by you!
